Content Day with BodyRocket in Essex with Alex Dowsett
Whilst your business grows as a sports photographer and sports videographer, there are certain pinch me moments that come along and it is also not everyday that you get to meet a (former) professional cyclist and Olympian in Alex Dowsett. However, when I was recently asked to come down to Essex for a content creation day for Body Rocket, this was one of those days!
Reflecting on a Year of Capturing Athletic Brilliance: A Heartfelt Thank You to my 2023 Clients and a Warm Welcome to New Faces in 2024
As we near the end of the year, I just want to say a massive thank you to all my amazing 2023 clients! As a sports photographer and sports videographer I’ll be heading into 2024 off the back of an amazing 2023, working with such amazing brands and athletes, including some brands I love personally.
British Cycling Sports Photography
Last weekend was arguably one of my biggest jobs so far as a sports photographer. I was pretty speechless to be working with British Cycling and The British Continental to follow an U23 National Road Series race and produce sports photography for them both.
Cycling Race Sports Photography
Last weekend (19-6-22), yes on Father’s Day, I attended the National B Cycling Road Race in Somerton, Somerset. With a main interest in sports photography and in particular cycling, having a road race just down the road is a must to attend. With fuel prices the way they are, it is getting harder and harder to travel, especially for unpaid work, which is so frustrating because I’d love to attend more and more events.
Abstract Sports Photography
Part of being a content creator is finding styles that are unique, but are also complimentary to what you are doing out in the field. This comes about by doing plenty of research, experimentation and being inspired by other creatives. From this exploration, I have discovered how the I can merge art and sport in the result of abstract sports photography and it is a style that has been received well.
