‘James Clarke’ operates under the company name of Just James Media.

One of my main priorities is the privacy of my clients. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by ‘Just James Media’ and how I may use it.

Photography Copyright and Consent

All images contained on this website remain the property of Just James Media. Images may not be downloaded, reproduced, copied, projected, or used in any way without express written permission. Read a copy of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

‘Just James Media’ assumes that all clients over the age of 18 have consented to their images being shared via the website and/or social media platforms. The photographs always remain the property of the photographer, however be assured that images will never be sold to third parties.

If a photoshoot is conducted for free, this is because I share the copyright of the pictures with you. This means I can use them on my website, social media, and any publications in the future. In return, you can also use the images in any way you want, however please credit me where possible.

If you decide that you would like the sole rights to the photos you can buy the full rights via a rights transferring document.

Photoshoots with persons under the age of 18.

All under 18’s must have the permission of their parent or guardian prior to a photoshoot taking place. 

Under 18’s should also be chaperoned by a parent or guardian, and if not possible, they must have a chaperone present who has been agreed by the parent or guardian beforehand.

Before a photoshoot takes place the client must fill in and return a release form which is attached below.

N.B. Chaperones don’t have to stay for the whole photoshoot, however they should be able to pick up and drop off a client for a meet and greet.

Log Files 

Just James Media follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analysing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

Cookies  

Like any other website, Just James Media uses ‘cookies’. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.

Third Party Privacy Policies 

Just James Media Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, I advise you consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options. You can choose to disable cookies through your individual browser options. To know more detailed information about cookie management with specific web browsers, it can be found at the browsers’ respective websites.

Children’s Information 

Another part of my priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. I encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. 

Just James Media does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on the website, I strongly encourage you to contact me immediately and I will make my best efforts to promptly remove such information from my records.

Online Privacy Policy Only 

This Privacy Policy applies only to my online activities and is valid for visitors to my website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Just James Media. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.
